  (Half Day): You start with Fushimi Inari Shrine, important shrine in southern Kyoto It is famous for its thousands vermillion torii gates, which stand astride a network of trails. Fushimi Inari is the head shrine of about 30,000 Inari shrine throughout Japan, the Shinto god of rice. Then you proceed to the Kiyomizu Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Perched on the hillside with stunning views over Kyoto, this temple is famous for its wooden stage. Learn about its history, architectural details, and the significance of its pure waters, believed to have healing properties. At the end of the tour, you can enjoy shopping while walking down Sannen-Zaka and Ninen-Zaka street.
(Full Day): You start with the Nijyo-jyo castle, former residence of Tokugawa shogun. While you walk around the stately Edo-period buildings, listen for the chirping of the “nightingale” floors. Next, we view one of Kyoto’s most coveted sights – the elegant Golden Pavilion. The temple’s shimmering golden walls can be seen reflected in the Mirror Pond below, but don’t miss the dainty phoenix ornament sitting on the roof. We then head to Arashiyama to visit a local Bamboo Forest, where towering green stalks create an almost otherworldly feeling of awe and mystery as you walk the pathway through the center. You conclude the tour with a visit to the famous Nishiki Market and enjoy street food.
